This paleo-friendly smoothie can serve as a quick breakfast drink. Raspberries, bananas, cocoa and date are blended with almond butter and coconut milk. It's perfect for chocolate lovers and is not too sweet. Just what you need to start your morning and wake up the late-sleeping husband/kids (by running the blender)!
Ingredients
1 cup coconut milk (full fat, from a can)
1 cup ice (cubed)
2 tablespoons almond butter
2 bananas (ripe)
1 cup raspberries
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 date (finely chopped, or more, if you want it sweeter)
Yield: 2 servings | Prep time: 7 minutes |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
